One Moment at a Time

Joseph's death has reminded me that I want to live. I don't want to look back at my life and regret the roads not taken. I have been reading Regina Brett's God Never Blinks  and she talks about our desire to be something or do something and when we allow ourselves to be bogged down by how to get there, we never do. So instead of worrying about how I will do whatever it is I want to do, I am just going to take the next step and start to embrace the next moment for just what it is...a moment. The book also talks about how we can let a bad moment or circumstance become a bad day, a bad week or a bad season, OR we can CHOOSE to let it just be a bad moment and choose to embrace the blessings all around us. Even if all you can find is that you are alive, that there is air to breathe in, that there is a God who loves you and created you for His glory...that you have a purpose even though it may not be evident right now.
