Too full and too empty all at once. In Romans 8:26, Paul tells us that, "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." (ESV, emphasis mine). The Spirit groans to God when my soul is full of whispers of things I cannot make sense of...
Yearnings that I don't quite understand.
Dreams that seem far fetched.
Emotions too big for me to comprehend or reconcile within myself.
A future too big for today.
Worries that have no place because prayer is the only answer.
Questions for which I have no answers...

So, whisper my soul, shout if you must, but pour out all your groanings in the Spirit of the One whose love for you is beyond anything you can ask or imagine. Thank you, Daddy, for all that You are and all that you offer by your grace and mercy to me and to all because in the midst of this madness we call life, One thing remains...
